To move towards self-sufficiency, it’s important that each community provide as much of their food needs as possible.  This can be done most efficiently using permaculture practices which provide a higher yield using less water and without using toxic chemicals for pest control or fertilizer.  Vajra Azaya assists with materials and labor for organic food production using permaculture design techniques to produce the highest yield of organically grown food.
